SunPatiens: planting and care guide
SunPatiens are a hybrid impatiens bred to handle more sun than traditional impatiens, used as bedding and container color.

Growing notes
SunPatiens are usually grown as warm-season annuals. In peak Texas summer they still benefit from afternoon shade and steady water.
Preparing the bed for SunPatiens
Central Texas ground is often heavy clay or thin soil over limestone. Fill beds with a garden soil blend so roots stay evenly moist without waterlogging. Top the finished bed with 2–3 inches of mulch, kept a few inches off the stems, to hold moisture through summer.
