Chocolate loam questions

What is screened chocolate loam?

A dark, rich sandy-clay loam screened to remove rocks, roots and clods. It's the go-to soil for new lawns, sod prep and garden beds in Central Texas.

How deep should I spread loam?

Plan on 4 to 6 inches for new sod or seed, 2 inches to top-dress an existing lawn, and 6 to 12 inches for raised beds.

Is it better than regular topsoil?

Screening gives a finer, more even soil that's easier to spread and level, so it's a better fit for sod and finished grading.

How fast can you deliver?

Request a preferred delivery day. Dispatch confirms availability, safe truck access and the schedule; payment does not automatically reserve a date.
