Contract delivery drivers
Pick up at our partner yards. Deliver to our customers. Keep Central Texas projects moving.
We're looking for dependable drivers and hauling contractors for gravel, sand, soil, road base and other bulk materials. Family owned and operated, with one dispatch team coordinating each load.
The role
From yard to jobsite
You handle the haul. Our dispatch team coordinates the pickup and customer delivery details. Routes serve homeowners, landscapers and construction crews across the Austin area and surrounding Central Texas communities.

Confirm the load
Review the material, truck capacity, pickup instructions, customer address and agreed hauling rate with dispatch.
- 02
Pick up at the partner yard
Follow yard loading procedures, check the material and quantity, and keep the scale ticket or pickup paperwork.
- 03
Deliver safely
Confirm access and the drop location, protect the customer's property, and send delivery photos and paperwork to dispatch.
Requirements
What you need to start
- Your own dump truck, dump trailer or end dump in safe working order, with enough payload for the loads you accept.
- A valid driver's license, and a CDL when required for the equipment you operate.
- Current commercial auto insurance, and operating authority (USDOT/MC) where your setup requires it.
- Experience hauling bulk materials and unloading safely at residential and commercial jobsites.
- A smartphone for dispatch updates, pickup tickets and delivery photos.
- Clear communication about availability, delays, yard wait times and jobsite access.
Schedule
Most loads run Monday through Friday, with delivery windows between 7am and 5pm. Saturday work comes up seasonally. You choose which loads you accept; there is no minimum schedule.
Pay
You are paid per load at a rate agreed with dispatch before you accept, based on distance, tonnage and truck type. Rates are confirmed in writing for every load, so there are no surprises.
How it works
This is contract hauling, not a salaried position. Load volume varies week to week and no minimum loads are guaranteed. Equipment, documents and service area are reviewed before any loads are assigned.
