Haul-off agreement

These terms apply to excess-material haul-off jobs CTM coordinates. They work alongside the intake terms and CTM's general terms. Your written job confirmation sets the specific price, quantities and dates.

Proposed haul-off rates

Planning prices, not confirmed hauling costs or a binding quote. Dispatch must approve the route, truck capacity and both sites.

Trucking / minimum job
$325.00 per load, up to 20 one-way route miles
21–40 route miles
$5.00 per additional mile per load
Loading / unloading wait
30 minutes per load included; $150.00/hour beyond that, rounded up to 15 minutes
Scheduled site visit
$95.00 per visit when required and accepted
Blocked-access dry run
$200.00 per truck, only if stated in the accepted job confirmation
Late cancellation
$150.00 per truck within 24 hours, only if stated in the accepted job confirmation

Disposal / receiving fees, purchased fill, excavation, loading equipment, testing, permits and applicable tax are separate and require confirmation. Over 40 miles is by quote. No assumed tons or cubic yards per load. CTM weather rescheduling has no cancellation charge. Dry-run and cancellation charges are not both charged for the same event.

1. Scope of service

  • Central Texas Materials (CTM) coordinates trucking and material placement through approved hauling partners. CTM does not excavate, grade, compact, engineer, remediate, permit or operate disposal sites.
  • The origin contractor supplies loading equipment, a qualified operator and legal access. The receiving party confirms it may lawfully accept and place the material.
  • A submitted request is not an order. Work begins only after CTM issues a written job confirmation and the customer accepts it.

2. Site visits and pre-haul review

  • CTM may require a site visit, photos or video of the origin and receiving sites before pricing or scheduling. Visits are scheduled by appointment and do not reserve trucks.
  • Reviews cover truck access and turnaround, gate width, overhead lines and tree limbs, ground firmness and weather conditions, loading and dump locations, and traffic or neighbor concerns.
  • Customers must disclose underground utilities, septic systems, irrigation, soft ground and any site restrictions. CTM and its haulers may decline or stop work where conditions are unsafe.
  • Changes to the site, material, quantity or destination after review require a new review before hauling.

3. Material approval

  • Only clean, non-hazardous soil, sand, clay, rock or similar material is accepted. No trash, debris, demolition waste, organics, contaminated or regulated material.
  • The origin contractor discloses site history and provides requested test reports. Material descriptions such as clean fill, topsoil or select fill are unverified until reviewed.
  • Loads that do not match the approved material may be refused or returned. The party that supplied the material is responsible for rejected-load costs stated in the job confirmation.

4. Pricing and payment

  • The proposed rate schedule below provides itemized planning prices. Each job still requires a written confirmation stating approved units, trucking, receiving fees, wait time, applicable sales tax and cancellation terms. A planning subtotal is not a payable total.
  • Loose cubic-yard estimates are not certified tonnage. Billing follows the unit in the written offer, using load counts or scale tickets where applicable.
  • Payment is due before dispatch unless CTM has approved written commercial account terms. Payments are taken through CTM's secure invoice or payment link.
  • Wait time beyond the allowance stated in the offer, dry runs caused by blocked access or unready loading, and late cancellations may be billed at the rates stated in the offer.

5. Scheduling and cancellation

  • Requested dates are requests until CTM dispatch confirms in writing. Weather, site conditions and hauler availability can move dates.
  • Cancellation notice windows and any fees are stated in the written offer. Weather-related rescheduling by CTM is not a cancellation charge.

6. Tickets, closeout and responsibility

  • Approved jobs record origin, destination, load or weight tickets and delivery confirmation. Customers should review tickets on the day of hauling.
  • CTM does not certify environmental condition, compaction or engineering suitability. The customer is responsible for placement approval, permits and its own site conditions.
  • Haulers are not responsible for damage to driveways, curbs, lawns or underground features in placement areas the customer directs, unless the written offer states otherwise.
