Road base, topsoil and mulch: price your quantity

Use the listed density and minimum for the actual material you are ordering.

Choose your Central Texas Materials product

Compare our limestone base, screened topsoil and hardwood mulch before converting yards to tons. Each product has its own planning density. Send your dimensions and depth; the product page calculator uses that material rather than a universal conversion.

Material pricing and specifications

Compare the current catalog products below. Prices are for material only; delivery and applicable sales tax are separate. Planning density is an estimate, not a certified load weight.

Before delivery

Send the product, quantity and unit, delivery address, target date and access notes. Where plans specify grading or testing, request current source-specific documentation before ordering.

Field tip

Measure depth in several spots, not one. On uneven ground a single measurement can be off by an inch or more, and an inch over 1,000 sq ft is about 3 cubic yards.

General planning guidance. Project plans, engineers, utility owners and manufacturer specifications determine the requirements for your job.
