Fill dirt in Buda: leveling yards and raising low spots

Fill vs topsoil
Fill dirt is for bulk: raising grade, filling holes, backfilling walls. It isn't meant to grow grass. Finish with 2–4 inches of topsoil where you want lawn or plants.

Aim for the ground to fall about 6 inches over the first 10 feet away from a foundation. Compact fill in 4–6 inch layers so it doesn't settle later.
